Theory practice and mock tests

A theory practice flow that lives in the same workspace as the lesson schedule — questions tagged to the official theory-test topics, mock tests with the real time pressure, and a confidence chart that points at the topics still needing work.

What's included

  • Practice questions aligned to the 14 official theory-test categories, written in-house
  • Practice or full timed mock — real exam pressure
  • Per-topic confidence chart (Alertness, Attitude, Vehicle handling, etc.)
  • Solo-friendly: works without an ADI logged in
  • Drills the categories where you slipped most — surfaced at the end of every session
  • Coming late 2026: clip-by-clip hazard perception drills with real-test scoring window

How to use theory practice in Passdesk

  1. 1

Pick a topic or full mock

From the theory tab, choose a single topic (Alertness, Vehicle handling, Safety, etc.) or run a full timed mock with the standard paper structure.

  2. 2

    Answer at your own pace

Practice mode shows the explanation immediately; mock mode hides it until the end and times you against the official time limit.

  3. 3

    Review what you missed

After the run, the confidence chart highlights the topics where you slipped, and points your next session at those categories first.

FAQ

How is the question bank structured?

Questions are written in-house and tagged to the 14 official theory-test categories. There is no separate "theory app to download" — practice happens in the same workspace as your lesson rubric.

Can a learner use theory without an instructor?

Yes — solo learners get the full theory toolkit. Solo and school accounts run as separate logbooks today; cross-account transfer is in active development.

Does it cover hazard perception?

Theory practice and mock tests across all 14 theory categories are live today. Clip-by-clip hazard perception drills land later in 2026.
